Model, entrepreneur and reality star who walked away from OnlyFans at the top.
Blac Chyna has lived several public lives: model, beauty entrepreneur, reality TV star, OnlyFans creator – and, since 2023, a woman who very publicly walked away from parts of that past. Rise to fame
Angela Renée White was born on 11 May 1988 in Washington, D.C. She first drew wide attention in 2010, when Drake mentioned her in his song "Miss Me" and she appeared in the video for Kanye West's "Monster". Modelling work and music-video appearances followed, and her name became shorthand for a certain kind of social media glamour.
Building a beauty business
In December 2013 she launched the online boutique 88fin and the eyelash brand Lashed by Blac Chyna, and in 2014 she bought a beauty bar in Encino, Los Angeles, offering makeup courses. Long before creators talked about "building a brand", she was selling her own products to her own audience.
Reality TV and family
She has a son, born in 2012, from her relationship with rapper Tyga, and a daughter, born in November 2016, from her relationship with Rob Kardashian. The couple's show Rob & Chyna aired in 2016, and in 2019 she starred in The Real Blac Chyna. Her life with the Kardashian family later led to a long court case, which a jury decided in the Kardashians' favour in 2022.
OnlyFans – and walking away
Blac Chyna joined OnlyFans in April 2020 and quickly became one of the best-known celebrity accounts on the platform. In March 2023 she surprised fans by saying she had been baptised in 2022 after converting to Christianity, had deleted her OnlyFans account and had reversed some of her cosmetic surgery.
Her story is a reminder that a subscription page is a chapter, not a life sentence – creators decide when to start and when to stop.
