The Dr. Phil moment
Danielle Bregoli was born on 26 March 2003 in Boynton Beach, Florida. In September 2016 she and her mother appeared on Dr. Phil, and her challenge to the studio audience – "cash me outside, how 'bout that" – exploded online. Remixes, memes and merchandise followed, and a song built on the clip even reached the Billboard Hot 100.
A real rap career
Rather than disappearing, she started rapping as Bhad Bhabie. Her debut single "These Heaux" (August 2017) entered the Hot 100 at number 77, making her the youngest female rapper ever to debut on the chart. Atlantic Records signed her to a multi-album deal, and "Hi Bich" climbed to number 68. In 2018 she released "Gucci Flip Flops" featuring Lil Yachty and her mixtape 15.
In 2019 she starred in the Snapchat reality series Bringing Up Bhabie, and in 2021 she launched her own label, Bhad Music.
The OnlyFans launch that broke records
On 1 April 2021 – six days after her 18th birthday – she opened an OnlyFans account and said she made more than $1 million in the first six hours, which was widely reported as a platform record. She later said her total earnings had passed $50 million; the figure was met with scepticism at first, but by 2024 she was regularly reported as one of the platform's top earners.
Her launch showed how much existing fame can be worth on a subscription platform.
Motherhood and health
In March 2024 she became a mother to a daughter. In November 2024, after fans noticed she had lost a lot of weight, she revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer. She has spoken openly about her life in public, including the cosmetic procedures she has had.
